Leonardo Hotel donate space for Volunteer Support Worker Training

On March 14th Maddie Bain, Lesley Duff and Annie ran our annual full day training for SeeSaw’s Volunteer Support Workers (VSWs), where we spent the day talking about ‘Making Room for Grief’.

We are very grateful to Lee W. and our friends at Leonardo Oxford for providing us with such a lovely space to deliver this training, and a fabulous lunch which helped thank our VSWs for the amazing work that they do.

We are so lucky to have a wonderful team of dedicated VSWs who provide 1:1 support sessions with children and young people. Having a full day together allows us to go into greater detail around the models and theories underpinning effective grief support and how VSWs can use these in their work.
