SeeSaw Grief Support at the Jenner Institute Symposium
On Friday 19th June, SeeSaw Grief Support was delighted to be supported by the Jenner Institute’s Symposium for Early Career Researchers, held at Worcester College, Oxford.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of SeeSaw’s vital service to a new audience, and encouraged researchers to consider the wider impact their work, and support of SeeSaw, can have on the health and wellbeing of children, young people and families across Oxfordshire.
A particular highlight of the day was hearing from one of SeeSaw’s Young Ambassadors, Aisha Campbell, who spoke openly and honestly about her own experience of grief and the support she received from SeeSaw. Aisha shared what being a Young Ambassador means to her and reflected on how her journey through grief has shaped her desire to help other bereaved young people feel hopeful about their future.
We are incredibly grateful to Aisha for sharing her story and for the important role she plays in helping to raise awareness of SeeSaw, and amplifying the voices of bereaved young people.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our friends at the Jenner Institute for their generous support of SeeSaw, and to Worcester College for hosting such a wonderful event.
